Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has adjusted share price of Everest Bank (EBL) to Rs 1274 per unit after the announcement of 33.33 percent right shares. According to NEPSE, the base price of the share is Rs 1553 per unit of share. EBL is issuing 33.33 percent of right issue of its paid-up capital amounting to Rs 1.53 billion. The company will issue 15,088,087 units of right shares through its issue manager NIBL Capital Markets from July 2 to August 6. The annual general meeting of the bank held on the January 7 endorsed a proposal of issuing 33.33 percent right shares to its existing shareholders. By the third quarter of the current FY, the bank has paid-up capital of Rs 4.60 billion. With the issuance of the right shares, the paid-up capital will reach Rs 6.11 billion.
Auction Bidding of Unsold Right Shares of Tourism Devt Opens, Last Day to Pluck Unsold Right Shares of Prabhu Insurance
A total of 704,738 units of unsold right shares of Tourism Development Bank (TDBL) have been put out on auction. Similarly, today is the last day to grab the opportunity to pluck unsold right shares of Prabhu Insurance (PRIN). TDBL had opened the right issue from March 26 to May 9 which failed to attract the existing shareholders. Therefore, the right shares have been put out for auction bidding by the bank. The bank has kept 266,537 units of general shares and 438,200 units of promoters share to the auction bidding. Interested investors can apply for the shares till June 29. NIBL Capital Market is the issue manager for the bank. The share trading of the bank has been suspended as it is in merger process with Mega Bank. The share swap ratio between Mega and Tourism has been agreed on 100:95.
